What Makes PureFlo Different from Standard PAPRs

Traditional powered air-purifying respirators use a waist-mounted blower and belt hose connecting to a hood or mask. PureFlo integrates the blower, battery, filter, and headtop into a single head-mounted assembly. In practice, this means: • No hose to snag on machinery or catch in confined spaces • No belt pack shifting during physical work • Easier donning and doffing for shift workers

Suitability: Beards, Glasses, and Fit Testing

Tight-fitting respirators (half-masks, FFP masks) legally require face fit testing and fail to seal reliably over facial hair. PureFlo's loose-fitting headtop design bypasses this entirely — no fit test required, and effective for workers with beards or glasses. This is particularly relevant in industries with mixed workforces or high staff turnover.
