Arc flash hi-vis clothing protects against electrical explosions reaching 20,000°C - temperatures that melt standard flame-resistant workwear and ignite regular hi-vis jackets. When live circuits fail, you're facing three simultaneous hazards: extreme heat, explosive force exceeding 100 kiloPascals, and molten metal travelling at 300 metres per second.
