Hi Vis Workwear
High visibility workwear keeps you visible in low-light environments and hazardous work zones. From construction sites to warehouses, railways to roadside maintenance, EN ISO 20471 certified clothing ensures you're seen by colleagues, machinery operators, and the public. Choose from Class 1, 2, or 3 depending on your risk level and working conditions.
Understanding the Three Protection Classes
EN ISO 20471 defines three classes based on visible surface area. Class 1 suits low-risk environments like warehouses or car parks where visibility is controlled. Class 2 covers moderate-risk work including construction sites, rail depots, and busy industrial settings. Class 3 provides maximum visibility for high-risk tasks such as highway work, traffic management, or emergency response.
What Makes Hi Vis Clothing Effective
- Fluorescent background fabric – yellow or orange for daytime visibility
- Retroreflective tape – reflects artificial light in darkness, fog, or poor weather
- Strategic tape placement – horizontal and vertical strips create recognisable human outlines
- CE marked and tested – all garments meet EN ISO 20471 requirements
Our range covers jackets, bodywarmers, vests, trousers, fleeces, softshells, and specialist options for thermal protection, waterproofing, flame resistance, and arc flash environments. Browse by apparel type, hazard protection, or industry-specific requirements.
